💰 Approximate Trip Costs (Outside of Transportation Deposit)

In addition to the $500 transportation deposit, participants should plan for the following separately arranged expenses. All costs below are estimates and will vary based on individual choices, travel dates, and exchange rates.

International flights to Seoul vary by departure city and booking time.

• Estimated range: $1,200–$2,000 USD round-trip

• Booking early is strongly recommended for best pricing🏨

 

Hotel (KKC-Negotiated Rates Available)

We have access to Korean Kennel Club–negotiated hotel rates near the Grooming Expo venue.

Estimated nightly cost (after tax):

$70–$130 USD per night, depending on:

• Room type

• Day of the week

• Whether the room is shared

• Shared rooms may reduce per-person cost

• Optional breakfast is available for an additional fee

Hotel reservations are arranged individually.

 

🍜 Food

Food costs vary widely based on personal preference.

• Estimated daily budget: $30–$60 USD per day

• Korea offers a wide range of affordable dining options

 

🛍️ Personal & Optional Expenses

Optional expenses may include:

• Shopping

• Sightseeing

• Optional school visits or salons

• Spa or personal activities

• Souvenirs

These costs are entirely optional and based on individual preference.
