Clear and sanitize grooming tables

End of Day

  • Remove all hair and debris from grooming tables.

  • Spray surfaces with OdoBan and wipe clean.

  • Spray with 256 disinfectant, ensuring full coverage.

  • Allow to sit for 10 minutes to sanitize.

  • Wipe dry if still wet afterward.

Sanitize grooming arms and non-fabric loops

End of Day

  • Remove visible hair or residue from arms and loops.

  • Spray with 256 disinfectant, ensuring complete coverage.

  • Allow 10-minute dwell time, then wipe or let air-dry.

  • Inspect loops for wear or fraying and replace as needed.

Sanitize grooming tools and blades

End of Day

  • Remove hair from all tools (combs, brushes, scissors, clipper bodies, and blades).

  • Spray 99% alcohol directly onto tools, ensuring full coverage.

  • Let sit for 5 minutes to disinfect.

  • Wipe dry with a clean towel and return to the designated “clean tools” area.

Process fabric restraints (loops, belly bands, Groomers Helpers)

End of Day

  • Collect all fabric loops used throughout the day.
    Place in UV oven for full sanitation before next use.

  • Spray fabric Groomers Helpers and belly bands with 256 disinfectant.
    Let sit for 10 minutes, then hang to dry.

  • At the end of the day, place them in the UV oven for final disinfection.

Turn on UV oven

End of Day

  • Load UV oven with all tools and fabric restraints scheduled for disinfection.

  • Close the door securely and power it on.

  • Allow the full UV sanitation cycle to complete before turning off.

Vacuum and mop groom room floor

End of Day

  • Sweep large hair piles first to prevent clogging the vacuum.

  • Use the central vacuum from the bathing/drying area:
    Long flat head with brushes for general cleaning.
    Direct hose (no head) for edges and under tables.

  • After vacuuming, mop the floor with OdoBan solution.

  • Allow to air-dry overnight.

Spot clean mirrors

End of Day

  • Spray glass cleaner or 99% alcohol onto a clean towel (not directly on the mirror to avoid streaks).

  • Wipe the mirror gently, focusing on dog drool, sneeze marks, or fingerprints.

  • Use a dry side of the towel to buff to a clear shine.

  • Check for streaks from multiple angles and re-wipe if needed.
