Between Dogs

Wash or sanitize hands after each dog and before touching tools, surfaces, or products for the next setup.

If hands are visibly dirty, wash with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, then dry with a clean towel.

If hands are not visibly soiled, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) and rub until dry.

Avoid touching clean equipment or surfaces until hands are completely dry.

Check the trash can for odor or fullness throughout the day.

If it smells or is 3/4 full or more, tie up the current bag and remove it from the area.

Replace with a fresh liner, making sure it fits securely around the rim.

Wipe the rim or lid with a disinfectant wipe if needed before inserting the new liner.
